I saw this movie in the theater when I was 15-years old. It left a lasting impression on me, especially the nude and semi-nude scenes of Jenny Agutter. I jest about the scenes, but the movie did leave a lasting impression. I own the DVD!

This is the story (based on the novel of the same name) of a post-nuclear society living in a self-contained, domed city. Each individual is allowed to live to the age of 30 and is terminated at that time. A "sandman" is forced to go undercover as a "runner" in order to find out where "sanctuary" is. By the end of the movie, you realize there is no sanctuary — just an outside world.
