Galaxy Quest (1999)
This is one of those comedy sci-fi adventures that you'll either love or hate. I can't say I love it, but I can say I've watched it on DVD more than 10 times.
It's the story of the former cast of a popular science fiction television series. They're in the process of attending conventions and making commercial appearances, riding on the coattails of their original popularity. Their greatest fans make an appearance and they have to once again don the costumes. This time, however, it's for real.
Starring Tim Allen, Alan Rickman, Sigourney Weaver, Sam Rockwell and more. Here's the movie trailer:

A classic in my book! Very predictable, but great fun and some good send ups of other movies. I don't go rushing to watch Galaxy Quest every week, but I enjoy it when it comes on the TV.
