Since I just recently watched the sequel to this, I thought it would be appropriate to write about his movie and then the sequel after this.

Bruce, a newspaper reporter who thinks he isn't getting what he deserves, blames God for his misfortune. Along the way, he challenges God in that he could do things better. God takes him up on it and gives Bruce godlike powers. Bruce, not knowing how to use that kind of power, manages to screw up his life more than ever.
