Evan Baxter, the anchorman that was the subject of Bruce's ire in the movie that inspired this sequel, is tapped by God to build an ark. Evan is a God-fearing individual who ran for and became a congressman, and then moved to an area where other congressmen live near Washington, DC. I'm thinking Virginia, but I don't want to re-watch it to remember.

While "Bruce Almighty" was a full of laughs, "Evan Almighty" had much fewer laughs. It was still a good comedy in my opinion but hey, I'm easy.
